CHJA Copper Penny Horse Shows
Estes Park Events Complex - Estes Park, CO
The CHJA Copper Penny I & II Horse Shows are the flagship shows of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association and take place in the beautiful mountain town of Estes Park. This resort destination sits at 7500 feet in the Rocky Mountains and boasts summer temperatures of 79 degrees during the day and 49 at night, a far cry from the stifling heat along the front range in Denver and surrounding areas. The facility, Estes Park Events Complex, is set-up to handle four show rings with several warm-up areas. There are permanent stalls, ranging from the 12'x12' stalls in the new pavilion building to the 16'x16' stalls in the old white barns. Lots of fun, great hospitality and unrivaled customer service are the trademarks of the Estes Park Horse Shows. CEP is proud to be the production and management company for the Estes Park Horse Shows owned by the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association. Prize lists, schedules, entry blanks and other documents for the 2021 shows are now available.

CEP Colorado August Classic Horse Shows
Denver Polo Club - Sedalia, CO
CEP and the Denver Polo Club have begun a joint venture to build a horse show facility capable of hosting all types of equestrian events, from hunter jumper shows to dressage and many others. By mid-summer 2021, Phase 1 will be complete and offer two large competition arenas, two warm-up arenas, a lunging / open riding area, 200+ stalls, a show office and dry camping RV spaces. Phase 2, planned for 2022 and beyond, will see the addition of more arenas, stalls, RV spaces with water and electric, an exhibitor hospitality area, a vendor area and eventually a climate-controlled indoor show complex making the Denver Polo Club a year-round venue.
CEP is planning to begin this year with two weeks of the Colorado August Classics, scheduled for August 12-15 and 19-22. These USEF National (A) rated horse shows will offer most of the usual hunter and jumper classes, medal classes and beginner / Opportunity level classes on the weekends.
